Warners Bay Theatre, Warners Bay 6th November 2020
Live music is back !
Little Quirks (Mia, Abbey & Jaymi) a 3 piece Central Coast indie folk band, had the time of their lives performing once again as they opened the Warners Bay Theatre show supporting Shane Nicholson last night, their first gig in 6 months. The Lord Mayor was on hand, proudly announcing that live music is back and all thanks to Destination NSW & Great Southern Nights for this wonderful initiative that will see 1000 gigs state wide in November, many in small intimate venues.
What a great pleasure last night was. Songs from the "Cover my eyes" EP, 'Life wouldn't be" and 'Devil's Ivy' were well received and several new songs inspired/written in this covid era were played to this small live audience for the very first time. Just to see how much joy these 3 young ladies had in their 45 minute set, made the 2 hour drive from Sydney so worthwhile. Well done to all involved in making this happen. For the record, Shane Nicholson & Matt Fell were also superb!
